Prepare: Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F or no. 4). Grease the tray with animal ghee. Mix: Empty Basbousa premix in a bowl. Add the animal ghee (58g or 4 table soons) and yogurt (165g or 2/3 cup). Mix together with spatula until mix is well smooth. Cover & rest batter for 45 mins. Spread the batter in the tray & cut it into square. Decorate with almond if desired. Bake: For 20-25 mins until the color is golden brown Serve: Pour the sugar syrup evenly on top of the baked basboussa while still hot.
