Mix: Empty the Lgaimat mix + the yeast sachet into a bowl and blend well. Add the warm water (400ml or 1 and 1/4 cup) and mix well with hand whisk until smooth and uniformly mixed. Cover the batter with a moist cloth and let it rest in a warm area for 45 minutes. Fry: Heat frying oil to 180-190°C (356-374°F). Use a teaspoon to scoop the batter and with the help of another spoon drop the batter carefully into the hot oil. Fry for approximately 3-5 minutes until Lgaimat color becomes golden brown. Serve: Drain fried Lgaimat on an absorbent paper. Drizzle the date syrup on top of Lgaimat while still hot.
